Buying Tips For Netbooks & Notebooks

Are you thinking of purchasing a new Netbook/Notebook in the near future? Maybe your just off to college or you want to get the latest and greatest thing on the market. I made this Checklist to make your shopping experience easier. Although all are not required when you purchase a Netbook/Notebook, some of the stuff listed will make your life easier.


      You'll Need:

• External Disk Drive (Only for Netbooks)
• Anti-Virus Software (Most come with a trail period and a lot of retailers usually give you a free subscription with purchase. this should be part of your "Shopping Around Phase"
• Carrying Case
• Microsoft Office 2010 (Most come with Word & Excel Starter)

     Extras:

• Small Travel Mouse
• Portable Hard Drive (These are becoming extremely affordable & you can back up multiple computers now with just 1 hard drive)
• Cooling Pad
• A Router (I recommend this one) Cisco-Linksys E2100L Advanced Wireless-N Router (See all Computer Network Routers)
• HDMI/DVI (See all HDMI Video Cables)
  and Auxiliary cable to hook to your TV
• LCD Screen Cleaner
